We are very grateful for the people that partner with us to make the ministry of High Braes Refuge possible. God has provided all these years, and we have felt His love through those of you who support us through prayer, volunteering and giving financially.
Different Ways That You Can Give
When you give to the General Fund, your gift is used to help with all the regular costs of operating the Braes. Areas such as, Utilities, Insurance, Food, Housekeeping, Maintenance, office expenses and some payroll expenses. Like any ministry, these are critical areas of need.
In 2012, Jeff and Toni Andrews felt led to begin raising their own support. This decision helped by removing a large portion of expense and helped to keep the ministry going. Giving to Andrews Support covers the payroll costs associated with the Director.
Ms. Cooper became a permanent member of our staff in January of 2022. She is a huge help in accomplishing all that needs to be done to keep the Braes going. Cooper support is entirely dedicated to help in the costs of her employment.
Maintaining a piece of property like the Braes is a never ending process. We are always trying to keep it nice and improve wherever possible. Gifts to the Improvement Fund are use specifically for upgrades and new projects.
The Braes has provided a summer camp ministry for local children free of charge since 1980. Many children, grades K-8 have heard the message of the Gospel as a result of this program.
Perhaps you would like to give the ministry the opportunity to use your gift in the best way possible. "Where Needed Most" gifts are used in the most urgent area at that moment.
The Chapel Hill Cottage Project is a new element to the ministry of the Braes. It is meant for ministry to tired and burnt out masters and ministry leaders. Construction of the first cottage will begin in the Spring of 2024. Every donation allows us to go further with this project.
